Melinda discovered yoga while working as a full time hairdresser and sharing her passion for essential oils. What had started as a dream job left her feeling over worked and a little burnt out as she is also a mother of five and therefore needed some balance.
She first joined a few classes per week but found it wasn’t enough for her. That’s when she realised that yoga had become something she needed to teach and a very important practice in her life.
She got her first teaching job upon graduating, and to date, she has taught corporate yoga, zoom yoga, outdoor yoga, private classes and classes at a gym.
Her professional teaching journey continues as she loves to help others remain focused, build strength & work on flexibility.
Her classes focus on alignment and you can truely expect to move, sweat, breathe, appreciate and open up your heart.
Melinda also enjoys growing her own vegetables, cooking and dancing.

As an educator for over 12 years, she has incorporated mindfulness, yoga and alternative engaging and creative methods into her teaching practice to meet the diverse needs of her students.

Karen is a Yoga and Pilates Instructor who believes that through movement, breath and building awareness of the body, we can gain insight into our emotional and mental states.
From this foundation of movement, we can explore our inner world and approach some of the day-to-day and more complex challenges in our lives.
From her time teaching Buddhist based meditation, to her training as a counsellor, and onto recent years working as a freelance artist and designer, she has built and nurtured skills in holding space and serving the community and sought to support and encourage others to find autonomy and strength within themselves.
